Director

Chris Mitchell

Starting his career in sales and marketing, Chris spent 5 years gaining a unique perspective and solid foundation within this field, with a huge emphasis on building solid relationships with valued clients. Throughout this time, his notable point of difference was not only Relationship Management within business, but also in his desire to gain intricate understanding of his client’s requirements and assist them in helping structure and exceed their desired outcomes.

In 2003 Chris transitioned into the construction sector which began a pathway leading into management of telecommunications infrastructure projects across the Telco, Government, Oil & Gas, and Energy Supply sectors. With a combined civil, structural and RF construction background, his predominant roles have been management and construction of Greenfield and Brownfield telecommunications projects, often overcoming many challenges involved in difficult access and remote locations, as well as complex builds such as guyed masts using Gin Poles. Included in this was a three-and-a-half-year tenure on Chevron’s $64 Billion Gorgon Project on Barrow Island in Western Australia, leading and managing diverse and challenging construction projects, including planning and overseeing the construction of the project’s permanent communications facility under strict regulations within an A-Class Nature Reserve, which included construction of a Category 5 cyclone rated 120m guyed mast built utilising complex winching and Gin Pole construction methodology.

With a keen interest in modern Project Management and WHS principals, and along with his in-depth experience and learnings from the Gorgon Project, Chris formalised his experience by obtaining Diploma’s in both Project Management and Work, Health & Safety, along with other tertiary training in other areas such as Frontline Management.

From 2015 Chris spent two and a half years as Operations Manager for a long-standing and reputable NSW-based construction company within the Telecommunications Construction industry. During his tenure he was able to implement many Project Management, Work Health and Safety and Quality Management Systems to enable company ISO9001 accreditation, and was instrumental in helping the company successfully achieve notable key contracts within the Government, Telco and Energy Supply Sectors.

With a growing belief that the dynamic of business was changing and believing he could provide a real point of difference in the industry, in 2018 along with childhood best mate Brenden Lavin, Commplete was formed. Through implementation of the right systems, equipment, personnel and suppliers, Chris believes Commplete’s operations are optimally streamlined to manage the business to the highest levels of its ability and efficiency, allowing him to focus on building long term relationships and exceeding customer expectations. This in turn has enabled Commplete to evolve into one of the more recognisable brands in our industry, operating at the highest levels across the Government, Oil & Gas, Energy Supply and Telco sectors with the ability to provide full turnkey construction services.
